The Jenny Finch Team is a team that will represent the KCUYA, with players demonstrating our core values and good stewards of the game. 

This team will be made up of a pool of 20-24 players.  
Age will be 13-18.  

This is 1 of 3 tryouts we will have for girls to have an opportunity to make the team.   The team will be announced in April. 


This team will play in various events throughout the year. 

It is important to note that not everyone selected to this team will be able to play in all the events and activities that are scheduled.   Example:  We will have players on the roster that are 18 that will not meet the age requirement to play in the Jenny Finch Classic during the MLB All Star Games.   However, they will be able to represent us when we travel to other academies or when other academies come to the KCUYA.

Jenny Finch Classic: 7/06/23 through 7/10/23 (Seattle, WA) (Sponsored) 
Dominican Republic Trip: tentative 12/26/23 through 1/1/24 (self-funded/fundraising opportunity)

Traveling to another academy
Having another academy visit KCUYA

Players who are a part of the Jenny Finch team will also get the opportunity to be selected to attend Elite Development Invitationals and the Breakthrough Series both hosted by MLB.
