Return to Math-a-palooza: Exploring Statistics in Baseball

Do you think that Alex Gordon is a hall of famer? What about others? In Exploring Statistics in Sports, you will use statistics that have historically been seen in baseball (for example, batting average and ERA) as well as more modern analytical statistics (for example, OPS+ and BABIP) to justify (or not!) your answers to whether or not these players are hall of famers. You will also be able to pick your favorite analytical statistic to explore in more detail and to compare some of your favorite current or former players to players in and out of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
