Science of Baseball Mini Camp for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students!
About: Have your student join us for a 3 day mini Science of Baseball Camp where we will spend half the time in the classroom and half the time on the field. The goal of the KCUYA Science of Baseball program is to relate your students' love or interest of baseball and softball to the math and science underlying the sports! Over the 3 days we will complete classroom lessons around learning to calculate our own strike zones, learning to read a players stat card, creating a roster of players based on a budget, and learning about launch angles. We will take a few of these activities to the field to see them in action as well as participate in some fun baseball/softball activities.
Dates: March 30, March 31, & April 1
Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
Who: Boys and girls from 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade
Limited Space: Max enrolled will be 15 students
