UYA athletes, join us for our strength and conditioning program instructed by our Athletic Trainer Malik Green MSES, ATC, LAT. In this functional strength program the athletes will improve their performance and skills with: bodyweight movements, conditioning work, and supersets to help them build a stronger foundation for a functionally fit athlete. This will be a three week program, active two nights a week (6 total sessions). Athletes will learn common muscle groups, proper form, and common movement patterns associated with sports. This will be instructed between the end of Open Gym and beginning of Programming on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Only 16 athletes will be allowed to participate to keep a safe and productive environment.
