The ability for catchers (and pitchers) to call a game is one of the most undercoached aspects of baseball and softball. This three-part course will focus on helping pitch callers learn what to look for when calling a game and how to develop an general philosophy for pitch calling. Here are the dates for the 3 sessions: January 16, 23, & 30. Royals Scout Team coach and Blue Valley Southwest head coach Tyler Kincaid will lead the workshop. Tyler has great experience of calling games for pitchers/catchers at the collegiate level for the University of San Diego and Kansas State University along with the work that he does with the pitchers and catchers at Blue Valley Southwest. To ensure that participants have the opportunities to ask questions and that interactions are increased, this course will be capped at 12 participants.
